As of February 14, freeze-up and freeze-up with polynyas have been established over a large area of the Berezina, the Pripyat, and parts of the Western Dvina, the Neman, and the Sozh rivers while submerged land-fast ice and ice run remain on the Vilia and the Dnieper rivers. Continuous ice cover is observed on the reservoirs Chigirinskoye, Zaslavskoye, Vileyskoye, Soligorsk, Krasnaya Sloboda, lakes Naroch, Lukomskoye, Drivyaty and Chervonoye.

There are sharp (up to 62 cm) diurnal fluctuations in water levels on rivers due to clears of ice. 

In the coming days ice formation processes in the country's water bodies will continue. Fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the rivers, and on the Sozh near Slavgorod, the water level will exceed the water outlet to the floodplain.
