Overview of hydrological situation of July 10, 2026

During the past period (7-9 July), as a result of precipitation, a rise in water levels was observed on most rivers of the country, as a result of which, on the Ross River (a tributary of the Neman) near the village of Studenets, the water level exceeded the floodplain inundation mark.
As of 10 July, on the rivers of the Neman, Viliya, Western Bug, Berezina and Sozh basins, and on most rivers of the Western Dvina basin, a rise in water levels with an intensity of 1–21 cm per day is observed, while on the rivers of the Dnieper and Pripyat basins, a decline in water levels is mainly observed with a daily intensity of 1-4 cm.
On the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
Water temperature ranges from 13°C to 22°C in rivers, and from 16°C to 21°C in water bodies.
In the coming days, water level fluctuations will be observed on the rivers, and water temperature will rise.
