Overview of hydrological situation of June 15, 2026

During the past period (June 11–14), water levels in the country's rivers fluctuated with a tendency to rise, as a result of which on the Viliya near the agro-town of Sheshchitsy, water overflowed onto the floodplain, and on the Dnieper near the city of Zhlobin, conditions for river transport operations deteriorated.
As of June 15, rivers in the basins of the Western Dvina, Neman, Viliya, Berezina and Sozh are predominantly experiencing a rise in water levels with an intensity of 1-29 cm per day. On rivers in the basins of the Dnieper and Pripyat, a decrease in water levels is mainly observed, with a daily intensity of 1-9 cm.
On the Viliya near the agro-town of Sheshchitsy, the water level exceeds the floodplain inundation threshold.
On the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the cities of Mogilev and Zhlobin, and the Sozh near the cities of Krichev, Slavgorod, and Gomel, water levels are below the marks that limit navigation.
Water temperatures range from 13°C to 22°C in rivers, and from 17°C to 20°C in water bodies.
In the coming days, a rise in water levels will prevail on the country's rivers, while water temperatures will not change significantly.
