Overview of hydrological situation of September 11, 2023

In the past period (September 6-10) a decline in water levels prevailed on the rivers, as a result of which on the tributary of the Neman, the Ross River near the Studenets water entered the riverbed.
As of September 11, a slight increase in water levels is observed on the Western Dvina on the Polotsk – Verkhnedvinsk section, the Pripyat near Pinsk (Lyubansky Bridge) and its tributary the Pina River near Pinsk. On the rest of the above–mentioned rivers, as well as on the Neman, the Dnieper, the Berezina, the Sozh, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-4 cm per day, on the Vilia - an even course of water levels.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozhe near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs is in the range of 12°C up to 21°C.
In the coming days, the above-mentioned hydrological situation will not change significantly.
