On September 12, on Minsk City Day, the staff of Belhydromet joined the people's flower-laying ceremony at the “Minsk — hero city” obelisk. The solemn ceremony was attended by Viktoryia Nevadnichaya, Chairperson of the Primary Organization of the Belarusian Union of Women of Belhydromet and Deputy Head for Ideological Work, Anastasia Zhed, Chairperson of the trade union organization of Belhydromet, as well as employees of the institution.

For the staff of Belhydromet, participation in the commemorative event is not just following a tradition, but an opportunity to express deep gratitude to those who defended the freedom and independence of our Motherland. Every flower laid at the foot of the monument is a sign of appreciation to the heroes who gave present generations a peaceful sky above their heads.

“Today we have gathered here to say thank you to those who gave us a peaceful sky. For the staff of Belhydromet, participation in the people's wreath-laying ceremony is not a formality, but a sincere impulse of the soul. As long as we remember — we are united,” emphasized Viktoryia Nevadnichaya, Deputy Head for Ideological Work.
The “Minsk — hero city” obelisk is one of the main symbols of the courage and resilience of the capital's residents during the Great Patriotic War. The people's wreath-laying ceremony became another reminder of how important it is to carefully preserve historical memory and pass it on to young specialists who today continue the labor traditions of the team.
Participation in city commemorative events is an integral part of the public life of Belhydromet. The staff of the institution strives to preserve the connection between generations and to foster in employees a sense of involvement in the fate of the country. On this festive day, Belhydromet employees once again confirmed: the memory of the feats of our ancestors unites us all and serves as a support for new achievements for the benefit of Belarus.
