Mother's Day: honoring mothers — Belhydromet employees

On October 14, Belarus celebrated Mother's Day — a holiday dedicated to the dearest and closest people.

The Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers, together with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, held a creative competition aimed at honoring mothers. In the nomination "Mother — the heart of the family," 2nd place was taken by Darya Voronova, Head of the Department of Physicochemical Measurements of the Environmental Monitoring Service of Belhydromet.

In the nomination "Connection of generations," 2nd place was taken by Irina Popruga, a meteorologist technician at the 2nd category civil aviation meteorological station Gomel of the "Gomeloblhydromet" Branch.

3rd place in the nomination "Connection of generations" was awarded to Yekaterina Lelikhova, Head of the Department of Observations and Operational Information of the "Mogilevoblhydromet" Branch.

These 3 awards are well-deserved recognition of the work and love that mothers invest in their families.

In honor of the holiday, the Minsk Regional Association of Trade Unions held a gift drawing. The happy winner was Polina Palchekh, a leading engineer of the Environmental Information Service of Belhydromet. Polina actively participates in trade union life, being a member of the Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers.

The Chairman of the Minsk Regional Organization of the Belarusian Trade Union of Forestry and Nature Management Workers, Sergey Ignatovich, personally congratulated mothers of many children at their workplaces. He also visited Belhydromet, where he warmly greeted Natalya Korzun, a radiometric engineer of the Radiation Monitoring Service. Natalya is a vivid example of combining responsible professional activity with the role of a caring mother of three children. Her example inspires many colleagues, proving that one can be sensitive, caring, and active while successfully coping with many tasks. Belhydromet has many such women who are a true support both for their families and for the organization.
