Round table dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People

On June 22, a round table dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People was held at Belhydromet.

The speaker was Sergei Mazovka, a deputy of the Minsk City Council of Deputies and Chairman of the Pervomaisky District Organization of the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus".

In his address, Sergei Anatolyevich reminded those present of the tragic pages of Belarus's history and the irreplaceable losses suffered by the country during the Great Patriotic War, emphasizing that every third resident of the republic gave their life for freedom and independence. He particularly noted that it is the preservation of this memory and respect for the feat of their ancestors that serve as the foundation of national unity and the sovereignty of the Belarusian people.
Furthermore, the speaker noted that the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus" consistently supports the political course of the President of the Republic of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, aimed at strengthening statehood, social justice, and protecting the interests of the Belarusian people.

The culmination of the event was the presentation of membership cards and commemorative gifts to new members of the Republican Public Association "Belaya Rus" from among Belhydromet's employees. By joining the ranks of the association, they reaffirmed their active civic stance and readiness to participate in socially significant initiatives for the benefit of their home country.

This event served as vivid evidence that the employees of Belhydromet remember the lessons of the past and are ready to build a future based on the enduring values of patriotism and unity.
