According to the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Radioactive Contamination Control, and Environmental Monitoring, during the period from 4 to 11 June 2026, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma-ray dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Gomel, Grodno and Minsk are 0.10 µSv/h, in Mogilev are 0.11 µSv/h, which corresponds to the values of natural background radiation.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma-ray dose rate levels are 0.46 µSv/h and 0.18 µSv/h, respectively. These values correspond to the long-term established average levels and are attributable to the consequences of the Chernobyl NPP accident.
The measurement results of the gamma-ray dose rate at the Belhydromet radiation monitoring network are available on the website: https://rad.org.by.
