Information on the radiation situation on the territory of the Republic of Belarus on July 17, 2026

According to the data of the Republican Center for Hydrometeorology, Control of Radioactive Contamination and Environmental Monitoring, the radiation situation in the republic remains stable.
The gamma radiation dose rate levels in Brest, Vitebsk, Grodno, Minsk, Mogilev are 0.10 μSv/h, in Gomel – 0.11 μSv/h, which corresponds to the values of the natural radiation background.
At the radiation monitoring observation points located in the towns of Bragin and Slavgorod, the gamma radiation dose rate levels are 0.48 μSv/h and 0.18 μSv/h, respectively, which correspond to the established long-term values and are caused by the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
