Overview of hydrological situation of June 25, 2020
Over the past period (June 20-24) decrease of water levels was mainly observed on rivers. Water levels dropped below the mark of exit water to the floodplain on the Viliya near Stechitsy and on the river Oster on the Sozh tributary near Hodyn.
Conditions for work of river transport got worse on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk, water levels dropped below dangerous mark.
As at June 25 decrease of water levels with daily intensity of 1-16 cm was observed on major rivers. Increase of water levels with daily intensity of 1-13 cm pre day is observed on rivers of the Zapadny Bug, the Beresina, the Pripyat basins
Unfavorable conditions of work of river transport are observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk and on the Neman near Grodno.
Water temperatures in rivers and reservoirs ranges from 17 to 25°С.
In the coming days no significant changes in level and thermal water regime are expected.
