Overview of hydrological situation of September 10, 2019
Within the previous period (September 6-9), decrease of water levels was observed on the rivers.
As at September 10, decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-9 cm per day is observed on the rivers. Small (1-4 cm per day) increase is observed in certain areas of the Zapadnaya Dvina, the Neman and on the Viliya.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Loyev and Rechitsa, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature ranges from 12°С to 20°С in the rivers and water bodies.
Decrease of water levels will prevail till the end of this week with the result that water level will reach the mark that limits shipping on the Zapadnaya Dvina near Vitebsk.
