Overview of hydrological situation of September 15, 2020
As at September 15 decrease of water levels and its smooth course prevails on rivers. Small increase of water levels (1-13 cm pre day) is observed on the Zapadnaya Dvina below Vitebsk, on the Viliya near Steshitsy, on the Dnieper over Rechitsa, on the Sozh near Slavgorod and Pripyat near Mozyr.
Unfavorable conditions for the work of river transport are observed on the Neman near Grodno, on the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, on the Rechitsa near Loev, on the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, on the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
Water temperature in reservoirs ranges from 16 to 18°С, from 11 to 19°С in rivers.
Fluctuations of water levels will be observed till the end of this week. Water level will be above the limit market shipping on the Dnieper near Mogilev. Water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will get lower.
