Overview of hydrological situation of September 5, 2019
Within the previous period (August 31 – September 4), decrease of water levels was observed on most of the rivers with the result that water level reached the mark that limits shipping on the Berezina near Svetlogorsk.
As at September 5, decrease of water levels with the intensity 1-20 cm per day is observed on the rivers.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loyev, the Berezina near Bobruysk and Svetlogorsk and on the Sozh near Krichev, Gomel and Slavgorod.
Water temperature has decreased and now it ranges from 11°С to 21°С in the rivers and water bodies.
In the coming days, decrease of water levels will remain, water temperature will decrease.
