Information on exceedances of standards for ambient air quality (3-9 September 2020)
State institution «Republican center for hydrometeorology, control of radioactive contamination and environmental monitoring» informs about exceeding of the quality standards of pollutants in the atmospheric air of cities of Belarus for the period from 3 to 9 September 2020.
In the air of Mozyr industrial hub (Penki village) average daily concentration of solid particles up to 10 micron (PP-10) exceeded air quality standards by 1,7. The weak west, the north-west wind, calm prevailed, weft, air temperature ranged from +14,6°С to +18,1°С, relative humidity ranged from 82% до 97%.
In the air of Zhlobin (Prigorodnaya street) average daily concentration of solid particles up to 2,5 micron (PP-2,5) exceeded air quality standards by 1,8 on September 5 and 6. Calm, weft prevailed, air temperature ranged from +11,6°С to +23,9°С, relative humidity ranged from 44% to 97% on September 5. The south wind, calm prevailed, air temperature ranged from +11,9°С to +26,3°С, relative humidity ranged from 53% to 96%.
In the air of Mogilev (Kashtanovaya street ) nitrogen dioxide concentration was 1,1 MPC at 01:00 on September 7. Calm, air temperature was +17,1°С, relative humidity was 98%.
In the air of Novopolotsk (Molodezhnaya 135 street) concentration of formaldehyde exceeded air quality standards by 1,1 at 19:00 on July 20. In the air of Novopolotsk at 01:00 concentration of particulate pollutants (non-determined in composition silt/aerosol) exceeded air quality standards by 1,1. Calm, weft prevailed, air temperature was +8,5°С, relative humidity was 98%.
