Overview of agrometeorological situation of May 22, 2025
The agrometeorological situation has begun to improve, passing rains replenish the moisture content in the soil and the temperature regime is gradually increasing. According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture in most of Belarus, there are sufficient reserves of productive moisture under agricultural crops. In the northern and eastern regions of the republic, where there was more precipitation than in the rest of the territory, there are increased moisture reserves. However, due to the uneven distribution of precipitation, crops in the southern and northwestern parts of the country, primarily winter crops, continue to experience a shortage of moisture.
The rains expected in the near future, combined with the predominance of a moderate temperature regime, will replenish soil moisture reserves everywhere and contribute to the formation of the harvest of most crops.
