Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 15, 2024
The agrometeorological conditions in Belarus have improved due to the increase in the temperature regime.
According to the latest observational data the top soil layer of 10 centimeters in most of the republic is in a moderately moist state which allows for good soil cultivation, fertilization and sowing of spring crops.
The soil remains mostly strongly moistened in the east of the country. Carrying out field agricultural work in such areas is difficult.
The conditions for the germination of seeds and the emergence of early spring crops, the development of winter crops and the regrowth of perennial grasses are favorable.
