Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 18, 2024
The agrometeorological conditions are developing favorably in Belarus. Warm weather and good moisture supply contribute to the germination of seeds and the emergence of early spring crops, the regrowth of perennial grasses, the active development of winter crops and fruit plantations.
According to the latest visual observation data the top soil layer of 10 centimeters is in a moderately moist state in most of the territory of Belarus which allows for soil cultivation and sowing of spring crops.
In the near future favorable conditions will remain in most of the republic for field work, the development of crops, fruit trees, and the growth of vegetative mass of grasses.
