Overview of agrometeorological situation of April 5, 2024
According to the latest visual observations the upper layer of the soil is heavily moistened after rains in a large part of Belarus. Good moistening of the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is observed in most of Gomel and in many areas of the Brest region, in the rest of the territory only in places. Over the past day the average soil temperature at a depth of 10 cm has dropped to +4 +9°C.
The agrometeorological situation will improve in the coming days. The expected increase in temperature and the gradual cessation of precipitation will contribute to the drying and warming of the soil, the regrowth of perennial grasses and the development of crops will be intensified.
