Overview of agrometeorological situation of August 27, 2026
According to the latest agronomic observation data, in a number of districts in the southern half of the republic, with somewhat ahead of last year's timing, corn has begun to ripen – wax ripeness has set in. On the main areas, with good moisture supply, grain filling is underway, and in places on late sowings, cob formation continues.
In the near future, conditions for the growth and development of corn will improve. An increase in the temperature regime and sufficient moisture on most areas will contribute to grain filling and ripening. In places, mainly in the southeast of the country, insufficient moisture supply for this crop may persist.
