The conditions for harvesting grain crops have improved somewhat. However, short-term rains that occur in places moisten the stem and ear, reducing the operating time of the harvesters. In most of the territory of the republic, grain crops have reached full ripeness, and they are being harvested. The moisture content of the grain has decreased and it takes less time to dry it in elevators.
In the predominant territory of Belarus, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is in a moderately moist state, which provides favorable conditions for sowing fall and crop crops, the beginning of sowing of winter rapeseed, and harvesting. In some places, mainly in the southern regions, the upper soil layer is poorly moistened on light soils.
