Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 14, 2023
The development of corn and the growth of green mass on the main massifs is somewhat ahead of last year's deadlines. According to the latest observational data, leaf formation continues in corn – on average there are from 11 to 17 leaves on one plant. Some weather stations in the southern half of the country note the sweeping of the panicle – the formation of reproductive organs has begun. The height of corn is noticeably higher than last year's for the same period. The condition of crops on the main massifs is good, in a number of districts of the Vitebsk region satisfactory and poor.
In the near future, in most of the territory of the republic, agrometeorological conditions will contribute to the formation of a corn crop.
