Overview of agrometeorological situation of July 7, 2020
Grain pouring continues in the greater part of the republic according to the latest observational data for winter crops, grain ripening has begun in some areas of southern regions. Development of winter crops is mainly a week and a half behind last year. Intense rains with wind led to lodging of crops according to a number of weather stations.
Low temperature regime expected in near future on the background of sufficient and increased soil moisture reserves will contribute to increase of duration of grain filling and formation of a full-weight spike.
