According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture productive moisture reserves in most regions of Belarus are good. However, due to the heavy rains that have passed mainly in the northern half of the republic moisture reserves are increased. Satisfactory reserves of productive moisture were observed only in some areas in the southern part of the country. In the south of the Grodno region where, unlike most of the territory of the republic, there was little precipitation in the first decade of June, low moisture reserves remain.
In the middle of the current decade due to a decrease in rains conditions for foraging and carrying out agrotechnical measures for crop care will improve. However, it will still be difficult to carry out field work on waterlogged soils.
