Overview of agrometeorological situation of May 30, 2025
The past intense rains eliminated the shortage of precipitation observed since the beginning of the growing season. The moisture availability of agricultural crops in most of the country has improved significantly. Good agrometeorological conditions are developing for the regrowth of grasses, the formation of grain productivity and the growth and development of other crops. The average temperature of the upper soil layer is +14 +19°C which contributes to the emergence of late crops.
In most parts of the republic waterlogging of the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is observed which complicates the implementation of agrotechnical measures for plant care and the first mowing of grasses. In the near future due to the expected unstable weather conditions for forage harvesting will not be the best.
