Overview of agrometeorological situation of May 8, 2026
Shower rains are moistening the topsoil layer, and good moisture conditions are observed over most of the territory. In the east of Minsk Region and in some areas of Mogilev Region, heavy rains have led to excessive soil moisture. Due to the uneven distribution of precipitation, weak soil moisture persists at a depth of 10 cm in many districts of the southern half of the republic and in some places in Vitebsk Region.
In the coming days, the moisture supply for agricultural crops will improve. Due to the decrease in temperature conditions, the vegetation of plants will slow down.
