Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 12, 2022
According to the results of instrumental determination of soil moisture in the greater part of Belarus, the arable layer contains a sufficient amount of productive moisture. Only according to individual weather stations in the south of the country on light soils, the reserves of productive moisture in the fields are satisfactory. In some areas, areas with a high moisture content have expanded after the past rains.
Winter grain crops have shoots and the 3rd leaf, in places tillering has begun on the earliest crops. In the near future, moderately warm weather and good soil moisture will contribute to the emergence of seedlings on late crops.
