Overview of agrometeorological situation of October 27, 2026
The development of winter cereal crops is proceeding under conditions of good moisture supply and sufficient warmth. The recent rains have replenished soil moisture content. Over most of the republic, the moisture level in the topsoil is good; in some places in the west of the Vitebsk region, excessive moisture is observed. Due to the rains in recent days, conditions for harvesting late agricultural crops, primarily corn for grain, have worsened. Conditions for plowing of autumn fallow land in most districts are quite favorable.
In the near future, agrometeorological conditions will contribute to the further development of winter crops. Conditions for harvesting operations will be satisfactory.
