In most of the republic, the upper soil layer remains moderately moist, which makes it possible to carry out winter cultivation with good quality. At the same time, in many areas of the Vitebsk and Grodno regions, in places in the Mogilev, Brest and Minsk regions, the upper 10-centimeter soil layer is heavily moistened after the rains. In waterlogged areas, raising the swell, harvesting corn, sugar beet, and late vegetables is difficult.
In the near future, the vegetation of winter crops will continue, and agrometeorological conditions will facilitate the emergence of seedlings in late crops. The expected short-term precipitation will maintain good moisture availability.
