Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 15, 2026
The formation of the harvest of late agricultural crops at the final stage over most of Belarus is proceeding with good and satisfactory moisture supply. In some places in the southern part of the republic, due to the continuing precipitation deficit, soil moisture reserves remain low – in the half-meter horizon there is no more than 10–25 mm of productive moisture, and in the arable layer – less than 10 mm. In areas with soil drought, the growth of root crops, in particular sugar beet, has decreased. At the same time, the prevailing agrometeorological conditions promote the accumulation of sugars in root crops.
In the coming days, the weather will be favorable for harvesting operations.
