Overview of agrometeorological situation of September 9, 2025
Due to the lack of precipitation, the conditions for the emergence of winter rape seedlings were not the best. Leaf formation has begun in most of the observation areas of this crop, and seedlings appear in late crops.
The upper 10-centimeter soil layer in most of the republic is in a slightly moist state. The most difficult situation is observed in the southern regions and in the east of the country, where in many areas the topsoil is completely dried up. It is difficult to cultivate the soil for sowing winter grain crops. Due to the lack of moisture, conditions for the growth and development of rapeseed, the regrowth of grasses, and the formation of a harvest of late vegetables have deteriorated.
In the near future, the expected rains will moisten the soil mainly in the western and central regions of the republic, and a lack of soil moisture may persist in the east of the country.
