Overview of hydrological situation of April 11, 2024

As of April 11, a slight increase in water levels is observed on the Western Dvina near the agrotown Ulla, on the Neman near Stolbtsy, the Dnieper on the Orsha – Zhlobin section and the Sozh near Gomel. In the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as in the Vilia, the Berezina and the Pripyat, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of up to 12 cm per day and their smooth course.
The water is located on the floodplain on most rivers of the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, as well as on certain sections of the rivers of the Neman and the Berezina basins.
In the Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 25 cm, there is a decrease in the water level with an intensity of 1 cm per day.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in most areas of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Brest and Grodno regions.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 7.4°C to 17°C, in reservoirs - from 8.0°C to 12°C.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels will be noted on the rivers, the water temperature will not change significantly.
