Overview of hydrological situation of April 15, 2024

As of April 15, a slight (1-4 cm per day) increase in water levels was observed on the Dnieper, the Neman River near Stolbtsy and Mosty, as well as on the Sozh near Gomel. Throughout the rest of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Western Dvina, the Vilia, the Berezina and the Pripyat, water levels decrease with an intensity of 1-24 cm per day and their smooth course.
The water is located on the floodplain on most rivers of the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, as well as on certain sections of the rivers of the Neman and the Berezina basins.
On the Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 23 cm, there is a smooth course of the water level.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in a number of districts of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Brest region.
The water temperature has dropped slightly and ranges from 6.8°C to 15°C in rivers and from 7.2°C to 12°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, an increase in water levels will prevail on the country's rivers, and the water temperature will decrease.
