Overview of hydrological situation of April 25, 2024

As of April 25, almost everywhere on the rivers there is an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 38 cm per day, only on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk and the Dnieper on the Orsha – Mogilev section there is a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-19 cm.
The water is located on the floodplain on most rivers of the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, as well as on certain sections of the rivers of the Neman, the Vilia and the Berezina basins.
On the Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 15 cm, there is a smooth course of the water level. Water levels are close to dangerously high levels on the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin, the Sozh tributary of the Pronya River near the village Letyagi, on the tributaries of the Pripyat rivers, Slutch near agrotown Lenin, Tsna at the village Dyatlovichi and the Ptich at the village Pershaya Slobodka.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in a number of districts of the Gomel region, as well as in some areas of the Brest and Mogilev regions.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 4.3°C to 11°C, in reservoirs - from 6.5°C to 9.6°C.
The above-mentioned hydrological situation will not change significantly in the next 24 hours.
