As of April 25, water levels on the country's rivers are decreasing and showing a steady trend, with the rate of decrease ranging from 1 to 21 cm per day. A slight increase in water levels is observed on some small rivers in the Dnipro, Berezina and Sozh basins.
Water remains in the floodplain on the Dnipro River along the Zhlobin–Loew section, on the Sozh tributaries – the Besed and Iput Rivers – as well as on the Pripyat tributary – the Ptych River.
On the Neman River near Grodno, the water level is below the mark at which difficulties in river transport operation are noted.
Water temperatures have risen slightly and range from 5.2°C to 12°C in rivers, and from 7.7°C to 10°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the decline in water levels on the rivers will continue, and water temperatures will not change significantly.
