As of April 30, an almost universal decline in water levels is observed on the country's rivers, with an intensity of 1–19 cm per day. Only on the Western Dvina near Polotsk, on the Neman near Grodno, as well as on some small rivers, a rise in water levels is observed, with a daily intensity of up to 3 cm.
Water remains on the floodplain of the Dnieper on the stretch from Zhlobin to Loyev and on the Sozh's tributary, the Iput River.
On the Neman near Grodno, the water level is below the mark at which difficulties for river transport operation are noted.
Water temperatures range from 4.6°C to 10°C in rivers and from 6.8°C to 10°C in reservoirs.
Over the next five days, water levels on the rivers will mainly decline. As a result, on the Dnieper near Rechitsa, the water level will drop below the floodplain level, while water temperatures will rise.
