Overview of hydrological situation of April, 4 2024

As of April 4, an increase in water levels is observed on certain tributaries of the Zapadnaya Dvina with a daily intensity of up to 83 cm, on the rivers of the Vilia and Pripyat basins – up to 44 cm, along the greater length of the Dnieper and Berezina – up to 11 cm, in certain sections of the Neman and Sozh – up to 2 cm.
In most of the rivers of the Dnieper, Sozh and Pripyat basins, as well as in some sections of the rivers of the Neman and Berezina basins, the water is on the floodplain.
In Pripyat, the water levels in Chernichi and Petrikov villages exceed dangerously high levels. 
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in most areas of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Mogilev, Brest and Grodno regions.
The water temperature has dropped slightly and ranges from 3.8°C to 12°C in rivers, from 5.5 °C to 9.2 °C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, the country's rivers will mainly experience an increase in water levels due to precipitation.
