Overview of hydrological situation of April 5, 2022

 Over the past day, the reservoir Chigirinskoe was completely cleared of ice formations.
As of April 5, ice ashores of the Western Dvina at the settlement Surazh remain, and on the lakes Lukomskoye and Drivyaty, ice formation with polynyas and rims is observed. 
On the Viliya, Berezina, Sozh, Neman in the section Stolbtsy - Mosty, the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin and the town of Loev, Pripyat near Pinsk, some of their tributaries, some tributaries of the Western Dvina and the Western Bug, there is an increase in water levels and their smooth course. In the remaining sections of the above rivers, as well as along the entire length of the Western Dvina, a decrease in water levels is observed with an intensity of 1-13 cm per day. 
The water levels exceed the water outlet marks on the floodplain on the Dnieper near the settlement Loev, Sozh near the city of Slavgorod, its tributaries the rivers Oster near the village of Khodun, Pronya near the village of Letyaga and Besed near the settlement Svetilovichi, tributaries of the Pripyat rivers Styr near the village of Lopatino, Sluch near the settlement Lenin and Ptich at the village of F. Slobodka. On the tributary of the Sozh, the Pronya River near the village of Letyaga, the water level is close to a dangerously high level, but there is a drop in the water level with an intensity of 2 cm per day.
In the coming days, fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to increase will be observed on the rivers of the country.
