Overview of hydrological situation of April, 5 2024
As of April 5, fluctuations in water levels with an intensity of 1-43 cm per day are observed on the rivers.
In most of the rivers of the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins, as well as in some sections of the rivers of the Neman and the Berezina basins, the water is on the floodplain.
In the Pripyat, near the town of Petrikov, the water level exceeds the dangerously high mark by 27 cm, there is a smooth course of the water level.
According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, flooding of coastal territories is noted in most areas of the Gomel region and in some areas of the Mogilev, Brest and Grodno regions.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 4.3°C to 11°C, in reservoirs - from 4.6°C to 9.6°C.
In the coming days fluctuations in water levels will be observed on the country's rivers, and the water temperature will rise slightly.
