Overview of hydrological situation of August 10, 2026

As of August 10, water levels in the country's rivers are decreasing with a daily intensity of 1-20 cm. Only on the Western Dvina near the urban settlement of Surazh, on the Viliya River along the Steshitsy – Vileyka stretch, on the Druć River (a tributary of the Dnieper), and on the Svisloch River (a tributary of the Berezina), a rise in water levels is observed, with an intensity of mainly 1-5 cm per day.
On the Ros River (a tributary of the Neman) near the village of Studenets, the water level exceeds the mark at which water overflows onto the floodplain.
On the Western Dvina near the city of Vitebsk, the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the cities of Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and the urban settlement of Loyev, the Berezina near the cities of Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near the cities of Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, and the Pripyat near the village of Chernichi and the city of Mozyr, water levels are below the marks that limit navigation.
Water temperatures range from 14°C to 25°C in rivers and from 20°C to 24°C in reservoirs.
In the coming days, a general decrease in water levels will continue to be observed in the country's rivers.
