As of June 19, rivers are generally experiencing a decrease in water levels and stable flow, with a slight (1-4 cm per day) rise in water levels observed on the Western Dvina near the cities of Vitebsk and Polotsk, the Neman near the town of Mosty, the Sozh near the city of Krichev, and on some small rivers.
On the Viliya near the agro-town of Sheshchitsy, the water level exceeds the floodplain inundation threshold.
On the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the cities of Mogilev and Zhlobin, and the Sozh near the cities of Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks that limit navigation.
Water temperatures in rivers and water bodies range from 15°C to 20°C.
In the coming days, a decrease in water levels will prevail on the country's rivers, and water temperatures will rise somewhat.
