Overview of hydrological situation of May 15, 2021

As of May 15, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-19 cm is noted in Viliya, Zapadnaya Dvina near the village of Ulla, Neman on the Stolbtsy - Mosty section, Berezina on the Borisov - Bobruisk and Pripyat section near the city of Pinsk. For the rest of the length of the above-mentioned rivers, as well as on the Dnieper and Sozha, there is a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-26 cm per day.
On the Neman near Grodno, the water level is below the mark at which there are difficulties in the operation of river transport.
The water is located on the floodplain on a tributary of the Western Bug to the Narev River near the village of Nemerzha, the Dnieper near the town of Zhlobin, the town of Rechitsa and the town of Loyev, on the tributary of the Sozh River to the Iput River near the town of Dobrush, Pripyat near the village of Chernichi, its tributaries to the Styr rivers near Lopatino, Sluch near Lenin, Stviga near Korotichi and Ptich near 1st Slobodka.
The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs ranges from 10°C to 17°C.
In the next five days, fluctuations in water levels with an upward trend will be noted on the rivers; on the Svisloch River, a tributary of the Berezina, near the village of Terebuty, the water level will approach the mark of water outlet to the floodplain.
