Overview of hydrological situation of May 25, 2021

During the past period (May 21-24), precipitation caused an increase in water levels on most rivers of the country, as a result of which water levels exceeded the water level outflow to the floodplain on the Berezina near the city of Berezino, its tributary to the Sushanka River near the village of Susha and the tributary of the Sozh to the river Conversation near the village of Svetilovichi, and on the Neman near the city of Grodno, conditions for the operation of river transport have improved.
As of May 25, an increase in water levels with an intensity of up to 18 cm per day is noted in Viliya, Berezina, Western Dvina near Vitebsk and Verkhnedvinsk, Neman near Grodno and Sozha near Slavgorod. For the rest of the length of the above rivers, as well as on the Dnieper and Pripyat, there is a decrease in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-13 cm.
The water is located on the floodplain on Viliya near the village of Steshitsy, the Dnieper near the town of Loev, the Berezina near the town of Berezino, its tributaries the Svisloch rivers near the village of Terebuty and Sushanka near the village of Susha, Pripyat near the village of Chernichi, its tributaries the Styr rivers near the village Lopatino, Sluch near the village of Lenin, Stviga near the village of Korotichi, Ptich near the village of 1st Slobodka, a tributary of the Western Bug to the Narev River near the village of Nemerzha and the tributaries of the Sozh to the Besed rivers near the village of Svetilovichi and Iput near the town of Dobrush.
The water temperature in rivers and reservoirs ranges from 11°C to 18°C.
In the next five days, fluctuations in water levels with an upward trend will be observed on the rivers, in connection with which the water level on the Sozh near the city of Slavgorod will reach the mark of water outlet to the floodplain.
