Overview of hydrological situation of November 5, 2024
In the past period (November 1-4), fluctuations in water levels with a tendency to increase were noted on the rivers and conditions for river transport improved on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk.
As of November 5, fluctuations in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-16 cm are observed on the rivers.
On the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev and Zhlobin, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature has decreased and ranges in rivers from 2.5°C to 9.2°C, in reservoirs is from 3°C to 9.6°C.
In the coming days fluctuations in water levels on the rivers will continue and conditions for river transport will improve on the Sozh near Krichev. The water temperature in the water bodies will continue to decrease.
