Overview of hydrological situation of October 10, 2023

As of October 10, the country's rivers are mainly marked by a decline in water levels and their smooth course, a small (1-14 cm per day) increase in water levels is observed on the Western Dvina near Polotsk, the Neman near agro-town Belitsa and Grodno, the Dnieper near Orsha, the Berezina near Borisov, the Sozh on the Krichev-Slavgorod section, the Pripyat near Pinsk (Lyubansky Bridge).
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature has dropped and is in the range in rivers from 4.8°C to 12°C, in reservoirs from 8.0°C to 13°C.
In the coming days most rivers will experience a decline in water levels, the water temperature will decrease.
