Overview of hydrological situation of October 16, 2023
In the past period (October 11-15) conditions for river transport have improved on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk.
As of October 16, an increase in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-23 cm is observed on most of the country's rivers.
Unfavorable conditions for the operation of river transport are noted on the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature in rivers ranges from 7.2°C to 13°C, in reservoirs from 10°C to 12°C.
In the coming days a slight increase in water levels on most rivers will continue, the water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will decrease.
