Overview of hydrological situation of October 25, 2024
In the past period (October 22-24), an increase in water levels prevailed on the rivers, as a result of which conditions for river transport improved on the Dnieper near Rechitsa.
As of October 25, a decrease in water levels with an intensity of 1-12 cm per day is observed on the rivers of the Neman, the Vilia and the Berezina basins, fluctuations in water levels with a daily intensity of 1-17 cm are observed on the rivers of the Western Dvina, the Dnieper, the Sozh and the Pripyat basins.
On the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Slavgorod and Gomel, water levels are below the marks limiting navigation.
The water temperature has increased slightly and ranges in rivers from 4.1°C to 10°C, in reservoirs is from 8.2°C to 11°C.
In the coming days, most rivers will experience a decrease in water levels.
