Overview of hydrological situation of October 5, 2023

As of October 5, the rivers are mainly marked by a decline (1-7 cm per day) of water levels and their smooth course.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport remain on the Western Dvina near Vitebsk, the Neman near Grodno, the Dnieper near Mogilev, Zhlobin, Rechitsa and Loev, the Berezina near Bobruisk and Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near Krichev, Slavgorod and Gomel.
The water temperature is within the limits in the basins of the Western Dvina, the Berezina and the Sozh 10-14°C, the Neman, the Vilia, the Dnieper and the Pripyat 11-16°C, and in the basin of the Western Bug 12-18°C. In reservoirs, the water temperature is 13-16°C.
In the next five days there will be fluctuations in water levels on the rivers with a tendency to increase, the water temperature in rivers and reservoirs will decrease.
