As of September 15, rivers in the country are mainly experiencing a decline in water levels and a steady course. A slight rise in water levels (1-5 cm per day) is observed on the Western Dvina near the Ulla agro-town, the Dnieper near the city of Zhlobin and the urban settlement of Loyew, the Berezina near the city of Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near the city of Gomel, the Pripyat near the city of Mozyr, as well as on some small rivers. As a result of economic activity, on the Mukhavets River near the city of Brest the rate of rise is 18 cm per day.
Unfavorable conditions for river transport operations are observed on the Neman near the city of Grodno, the Dnieper near the city of Mogilev, the city of Zhlobin, the city of Rechitsa and the urban settlement of Loyew, the Berezina near the city of Bobruisk and the city of Svetlogorsk, the Sozh near the city of Krichev, the city of Slavgorod and the city of Gomel, the Pripyat near the village of Chernichi and the city of Mozyr.
The water temperature in the rivers ranges from 10°C to 18°C, and in water bodies from 16°C to 18°C.
In the coming days, water level fluctuations with a downward trend will be observed on the rivers, and the water temperature will not change significantly.
