Belarus on the verge of a cold snap

The drop in temperature will be caused by an atmospheric front that will open the way for cool air masses from northwestern Europe. Therefore, as early as the next 24 hours, on June 12, daytime highs will reach only +14 to +20°C. Only in the eastern regions, where the influence of a warmer air mass will still persist, will the air warm up to +21 to +27°C by midday. However, on Saturday, June 13, the temperature background will drop everywhere. In addition, umbrellas will be an essential attribute, as atmospheric fronts will continue to bring new rounds of precipitation. With the active development of atmospheric processes, locally the rains will reach the criteria for heavy rainfall, accompanied by thunderstorms and strong gusty winds.

June 12 (Friday): Intermittent rain, with heavy rain expected in some areas during the daytime. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas. Light fog may occur in places at night and in the morning. Minimum temperatures at night will range from +6°C in the west to +17°C in the east. Daytime highs will be +14 to +20°C, and +21 to +27°C in the eastern regions.
June 13 (Saturday): Rain is expected over most of the country, with heavy rain and thunderstorms in some areas. Light fog may occur in places at night and in the morning. Minimum temperatures at night will be +7 to +14°C, and up to +16°C in the northeast. Daytime highs will be +15 to +22°C.
June 14 (Sunday): Rain is expected over most of the country. Thunderstorms are possible in some areas during the daytime, with wind gusts of 15–18 m/s during thunderstorms. Minimum temperatures at night will be +8 to +13°C. Daytime highs will be +14 to +21°C.
