Belhydromet representatives took part in memorial events

On June 22, the Day of National Remembrance of the Victims of the Great Patriotic War and the Genocide of the Belarusian People, employees of Belhydromet honored the memory of the heroes and victims of that terrible war.

On this day, which marked the beginning of an unprecedented act of cruelty and aggression against our Motherland, every Belarusian bows their head before the grandeur of the heroic feat and the depth of the people's grief.

Representatives of Belhydromet took part in a district requiem rally held at the mass grave with the monument "The Grieving Mother." This sorrowful symbol reminds us of the irreplaceable losses, of the maternal grief that war brought to every family. Here, at the mass grave where the brave sons and daughters of the Belarusian people, who fell in the fight against the invaders, lie at rest, words filled with both pain and pride for the deeds of their ancestors were spoken.

Representatives of Belhydromet also took part in the city requiem rally at the "Trascianiec" memorial complex.

This complex, which has become a symbol of one of the largest Nazi death camps, serves as a reminder of the unimaginable cruelty and genocide inflicted upon the Belarusian people.

The ceremony of laying flowers and wreaths at the memorial's monuments was an act of deep respect and remembrance for those who perished in this hell, and a reaffirmation of our determination to never allow anything like it to happen again.

Today's events are not merely a tribute to the past, but also an important lesson for future generations. The memory of the tragic events of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people is a sacred duty. It serves as a reminder of the price at which peace was won, and of the need to protect it, resisting any manifestations of fascism and intolerance.
